Hello and welcome!

I am a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University, where I am affiliated with the Department of Government and the Gender and Security Sector Lab.

I study conflict, security cooperation, and civil-military relations. My research assesses the role of international conflict and institutionalized defense cooperation in domestic politics, focusing on elite defection and anti-government armed uprisings. I am also interested in applying large language models (LLMs) to understand global media narratives on conflict and political violence.

I received an M.A. in Political Science from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
